Timber Village Museum

We have a small medical exhibit highlighting local doctors who served the community and the logging camps. Our exhibits include: a foot powered dentist’s drill, and Xray machine, a pneumothorax testing equipment, cardette, surgical steel table etc.

Local doctors were: Dr. Frank Hamill, Dr Langlois, Dr. Burd (first doctor), Dr. John Robb who was also a senator and built the first brick hospital in the 1920’s; Dr. Jean Pigeon who served from 1940 to 1971.
